TOKION LAKEN paints from Holland. Steel Office Furniture from “SHANNON” Ireland. “SOLIGNUM” Wood preservative from England United Kingdom. MECCAFER Slotted angles from Belgium.

After Liberation of Goa the business was localised due to govt. Restrictions on import and started as dealers for ACC & were later distributors for KCP brand Cement from KCP Ltd Macherla. Other items like Mild Steel & builders hardware were locally purchased from wholesale market and steel mills like Tata Steel, Steel Authority of India Ltd , Bhadrawati Iron & Steel Ltd.

In 1965 Kamta Trading Company was started to deal with India Cements Ltd as distributors for “SANKAR” brand Cement. Also Stockists of “CHARMINAR” Asbestos Sheets & Pressure pipes. We also were dealing in imported cement imported by State Trading Corporation. We were also distributors for Steel Furniture by “OLYMPIC Steel furniture, Bombay.

In 1987 were appointed as Distributors by MC-Bauchemie (India) Pvt. Ltd. for their Construction Chemicals & Waterproofing Agents. Later we added “BISON” Panel cement bonded wood particle boards manufactured by NCL Industries Ltd., Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh as distributors.

Both the partners namely Babuli V.Kamat Ghanekar & Tejas Babuli Kamat Ghanekar got trained in Germany at MC-Bauchemie Müller GmbH & Co., Essen Germany in judicious usage of Building Chemicals & waterproofing Agents. Mr.Babuli also got himself trained at Singapore to carryout Injection, Repairs & Rehabilitation and has successfully Completed the IRP training. Today we the only trained people in this Industry in Goa, qualified to give advice to customers & contractor firms.

We also handle Alkali resistant chopped Glass fibres & Glass fibre mesh used in construction Industry. The items stocked are from Owens Corning USA. We are basically restricted to Goa but take up Consultancy jobs outside Goa. We have trained our own applicators and have good teams of Trained Applicators with work force of in all 80 people.
